The last few days the 'National Highways Department' or the local goverment or whatever, started to clean the main streets of Tiru. It was like that they were trying to build new wide highway or to clean the path around Arunachala. But whatever, they do it every year. Cleaning(?!) up the building on the streets, but always after the work, the people start to build it again and again. I think this is going on for the past 5 or 6 years. But this year they are too agressive and they took off all the shops and houses which are not properly registered(which means kinda most of the shelters and the roofs of the shops and houses). So, there is a lot happening on the main streets. Most of the street shops are gone. And many other houses and shops are heavily damaged. So here are some sample pictures. But in real its more worse.
the streets, looks like after an earthquake or so
opposite the t-shop

Hello Thiyagu,
here´s Stephan from Germany writing. Horrobile to see the streets of my beloved Tiru like that. No T-Shop anymore? I can´t imagine.
How are you? I send you much love
Stephan
